Practical Carry 3
COVER AND MOVEMENT
Course Description
Practical Carry 3 range work is spent focusing on using cover and movement. The use of appropriate movement and cover can provide the advantage you need in a defensive encounter.
Shooting on the move, working around non-threats, and using cover to create an advantage are skills emphasized in this course. Lateral movement, retreating, and advancing movement are all taught in this course. We need to run the gun as efficiently as possible, so gaining familiarity with your firearm is very important. This course places a strong emphasis on accountability, even while shooting on the move.
The classroom portion includes an online primer on shooting while moving as well as shooting moving targets. We do this to ensure that we can get the most out of the range work.
We intentionally run small classes, usually capped at eight students. This is to ensure that each student receives personal attention and has a safe environment to learn and grow.
