Practical Carry 4

FORCE DECISIONS (REQUEST ONLY)

Course Description

Practical Carry 4 is a scenario-based training course designed to improve responses to real-life situations. While most of our classes include a “brain training” component, this class focuses specifically the students' mental agility.

This class is stimulus-based, creating a realistic environment that requires an appropriate response. In many cases, people can make good decisions “on paper,” but when presented with the stress of the moment, thinking with a gun in your hand is more difficult than previously imagined.

The Practical Carry 4 coursework will include drills performed based on random stimuli. Remember that we are attempting to simulate an actual situation, so all tools or safe replicas are welcome in this class. During this course, you will be subjected to additional cognitive load while making decisions. This is to help you develop a calm response when the presented situation is chaotic.

Students will also be asked to react accordingly to different stimuli while working against targets as well as live role players. This class will test your skills with a handgun, but it will also assess the verbal and decision-making skills you may need to defend yourself.
