Teaches: draw, grip, rapid-fire, recoil control, “adequate” rather than “perfect” sight picture.
Target: IPSC target
Distance: 3-7 yards
Start Position: Handgun holstered, surrender position (hands above shoulders)
Drill: Draw and fire 6 shots into the “A-zone”. Simple.
Time: This drill is for your own metric and improvement. So you know, it is generally accepted that at 7 yards, a master level time is 2 seconds or less.
Always be safe and remember the 4 gun safety rules!
