The walk back drill is a simple drill that has been used likely since the invention of projectile weapons. The goal is simple. Hit a pre designated target size at an increasing distance.
Usually Shooters will use a simple target, like a B8 bullseye or similar. This drill is better when you have others to compete with. Start at a reasonable distance, such as 3 or 5 yards. There is no time limit. Each shooter will have their opportunity to shoot the target once. The shooters that accomplish the task get to stay in the competition, and the firing line is moved back, say 2 yards at a time (distance is up to you). Anyone that misses is eliminated. The last person standing is the winner.
Simple, and fun! Go shooting with a friend and challenge them!
