Effective Pistol Red Dot Techniques
Practical RDS is a foundation course in the selection, installation, care, and employment of the pistol mounted optical sight.
This course is for those people who have adopted red dots on handguns, or those considering it. In this course students will be offered the opportunity to shoot multiple guns with different red dot styles, giving experience with a variety of options.
Students will learn about the benefits and the issues with an electronic sight on a handgun. Skills will include finding the dot, tracking targets with the dot, close and distant shooting, and using the red dot as a diagnostic tool.
Duration: 5+ hours
Ammo Requirements: 200 rounds
Prerequisites: Understanding of safe firearms handling in a class setting
